Inspired by our eternal celebration of memory and the ritual that privileges memory over forgetting.
The Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) Collection tells the story of one of Mexico's most representative and distinctive traditions in which death does not represent an absence, but a living presence: death is both a symbol of life that materializes at our altars, and a reminder of the strength of Mexicans who laugh even at death.
It is also an example of the conjuncture of influences that shape mexican culture: a rite of pre-Hispanic origin to help souls on their journey to the Mictlán transferred perfectly to the Christian calendar.
